The pitch has to be delivered!

The pitch has now arrived of which we pitch our idea of the movie trailer to our teachers who will give us the go ahead if they feel it is achievable. We will pitch all our ideas such as font style, storyboard, ancillary drafts, location shots, synopsis, choice of characters, and our vision for the trailer. This is how the pitch went:

What was the response from the pitch?

We have successfully passed the pitch stage and our ideas were appreciated. We were all told that the storyline was good and we need to develop upon our production schedule and storyboard. We have been given the go ahead and we received some good and positive feedback from teachers and peers. We just need to have another meeting to finalise our production schedule and think of the type of shots we will include within the film trailer and then we can start to film. Let the journey begin…

More ideas?

For our Ancillary task I have been tasked to create a film magzine front cover of which advertises Apocalypse. I have undergone some research which will enable me to produce a professional front cover that will support our teaser trailer.
I have now completed three designs of a film magazine front cover of which I am going to pick the one I feel will help advertise the film, conform with the codes and conventions, and the one that the target audience feels is more effective. Below are the three draft verions of the front cover of the movie magazine front cover:

How do I create a professional magazine front cover?

For our Ancillary task I have been tasked to create a film magzine front cover of which advertises Apocalypse. I have undergone some research which will enable me to produce a professional front cover that will support our teaser trailer.
I have looked at some existing film magazine front covers of which match our genre and analysed the codes and conventions of which I can incorporate into my poster.

There's no writing without a font...

For our style guide we have decided that we need a font that will help fit the genre and appeal to the target audience. We have looked at many different horror films that fit our hybrid for help and guidance. The fonts below are the fonts of which we have looked at with great detail and what will fit our film perfectly.

This is the font style of which we have decided that we would use for the copy for our ancillaries and the print copy of which we will include in the trailer. We feel that this matches our genre really well as it looks as though the font has been scratched, this is a motif of the genre as the zombie like creatures are trying to get to the audience to try and attack them.

These are some other font styles of which we have looked at:
